The Indiana Association of Area Agencies on Aging (IAAAA) advocates for quality programs and services for older adults and persons with disabilities.

IAAAA believes in the individual's right to:

  • Choose among health care alternatives to maintain independence and dignity;
  • Practice healthy lifestyles to have a happier, healthier, and longer life; and
  • Be educated about services and alternatives available.
 

Action Alerts

One-third of all Indiana residents will be over the age of 60 by the year 2030, according to census projections. Of that group, a significant number will be over the age of 85. The state is not equipped to meet the long term care challenges.
