As unique as your situation may seem, you are not alone. The Area Agencies on Aging/Indiana Caregivers Alliance has helped people just like you for over 25 years. Give us a call. The Indiana Area Agencies on Aging/Indiana Caregivers Alliance is made up of 16 Area Agencies on Aging from around the state. Each agency provides unique services and programs to its community and region, but they all share the common traits of compassion, connections and care. From nutrition to arranging the right services in the home, our job is to connect and your loved one with the right programs and services to help improve quality of life.

Caring for all who need it.

You may be caring for an elderly parent in your own home. You may be taking care of your ailing spouse or other family member. You may be concerned about an older friend who finds it difficult to take care of himself all day, every day. You may be caring for your daughter or son with mental or developmental disabilities. Help is just a phone call away.

Your local Area Agency on Aging/Partner of the Indiana Caregivers Alliance can connect you with the right information and available services for your particular situation. It doesn't matter whether you live in the inner city or the outer parts of rural Indiana, we're here to hlep you provide compassion, connections and care for senior caregivers.

Making the right connections.

Think of your local Area Agency on Aging as a valuable resource that can connect you with the right community programs and services. Perhaps, for example, your loved one is unable to cook regularly for herself. Most local Agencies can connect you with organizations that prepare nutritional meals either at meal sites or delivered to homes.

Referrals. Skill building. Information and training. Peer support groups. Your local Agency can help you navigate the waters, and connect you with the services - and and peace of mind - you're looking for.

Connecting you and your loved ones with answers and resources.

We understand that you want the best possible care for your loved one. We know how difficult the balancing act can be between caring for someone you love and attending to the other parts of your daily life. From respite care to transportation, we offer a variety of services and programs that can open doors and brighten lives.
